whats up with that? Serious question, are they censoring the internet now?

try it through a vpn or even just a proxy; it's actually blocked by law here in australia.

it used to be that they'd just block the DNS entry and you could connect direct to the IP address but they've apparently blocked all IPs in that registered range now

thats butt fuckingly hilarious. I don't own a tv but has internet and when they switched to spectrum, spectrum told me they were going to up my bill, i was pretty pissed and bitched for an hour and they let me keep my bill the same.

i know a dude who used to work for 'brighthouse'...the company that came after time-warner and before spectrum.

he said they would send out inspectors to look the cable company equipment to check it with the secondary purpose of checking out who was stealing cable. they had a list of houses that were repeat offenders and would bring cops with them in case the people who were stealing cable became aggressive. he told some funny stories about mother fuckers coming after them with garden hoses...baseball bats...etc.
