Tragedy Struck at the Zoo Again : Female Silverback Gorrilla was ordered to babysit. Did just that, literally.

    A 9-month-old Pensacola baby gorrilla died Saturday after her 325-pound cousin performed baby-sitting on her according to the norms and traditions of silverback gorrilla, according to an Escambia County Zoo warden's report.

    Veronica Harambe, 6 years and 4 months female silverback gorrilla, was accused with homicide and cruelty toward a baby gorrilla after veterinary responded to a cardiac arrest call at 1:35 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Bryant Zoo. Upon arrival, the baby gorrilla, Dericka Harambe, was found to be unresponsive and was transported to Baptist Animal Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

    good play on words. instead of the anticipated despair at the thought of a great animal being tragically lost after reading the title...the disappointment changed to elation upon discovering the actual good news.
