These reports were around since the time of the shooting. They were dismissed as either being diversions or error caused by confusion, potentially being SWAT teams being reported by simpletons. -

if he knew anything about guns he wouldn't have been using a bump-fire, he would have used fully automatic rifles and fired in bursts. amateurs keep their fingers on the trigger until the bang-bang-bang stops.
