Need to learn coding or something else. Even I.T. if it's still needed.
I really get depressed when I see people living under highways and in tents. they depress me because I feel bad looking at them but also because I might end up that way along with a large portion of the population. it will look like Soylent Green movie.

yep. the Job and Drinking part is what needs to be delt with the most. Alcohol is fun, but it's poison. I gave it up long ago now.. well a 3 plus years ago. but you can always fall back on it. I dont ever wish to. -

Right now, the best thing you can focus on is the internal, not the external. Learn the skills you need to be independent, to be off the grid, to not have to rely on anyone but yourself to be able to survive. Read. Learn. Remember. Read/KNOW/DO. At this point, it is critical you become 100% self reliant. Millions will die, simply because they don't know what to do. They've been sucking the public tit for way too long. You must know how to locate your own drinkable water. You must know how to locate and capture food. You must know how to survive the elements. Everything else is moot. What once mattered no longer matters. From here on in, only the fittest and the sharpest and the most knowledgeable will make it. -

I keep wondering. it doesn't happen as much but for a while it went on for weeks. today was the first of the back to college year.

Live near the end of the EDIT: continent so there is always radioactive fish. I saw how to get fresh water from salt water.. just sag plastice wrap over a bowl and place a cup in the center of the bowl, with wrap over bowl.. and a rock on top in the center.. leave out in sun and let the cup fill up with condensation. also there is a river bear us up the street.. a spring. it is dirty as hell but just run it through charcoal and sand and boil it once it looks clear. should be safe to drink.. maybe after boiling it.. run it through a britta. -

People don't yet quite realize how bad it's really going to get. TIP: head for the mountains. In the mountains, there are many fresh water springs gurgling out 100% pure, fresh water from the cliffs and rock faces. Bring a magnifying glass with you. Matches will eventually run out, or be destroyed, but with a magnifying glass, you will always have a source of fire. Learn to make rabbit traps with twine and available branches to power them. Get your geography straight. Look up maps in detail and get to know the terrain in depth, including elevations and land features. Map out your escape route in advance. Stay away from major cities entirely, because that's where the dying will be.
