   Most likely we'll never know. Ever since the skiddies in "LulzSec" started drawing attention to themselves and got caught, the dick measuring in the black hat communities has died down significantly.

   Saying LulzSec were skids is doing them a disservice, the core members were more skilled than your average skid with the exception of Topiary. Also, 'el oh fuckin' 'el if you categorize LulzSec and derivatives as the "Black Hat Community". The BH community is 25% highly organized, highly skilled APTs. The rest are spammer and carder scum.

    Grey Hats do illegal things too usually just not for money. Also, LulzSec & Co were a separate entity as it pertains to the 'criminal underground' of the hackersphere.
