Went to dans

I woke up at 7 this morning and realized i had a brew unopened next to me so I got on tinychat and woke up panthrax and tort and listened to some music.

I decided to go to dans to get some breakfast tacos instead of ritz, but decided to ride my bicycle, i was almost there and I slipped on some gravel by the bus stop and some indian dude was like "fucking guy you okay man?!" and I was okay just more embarassed and walked my bike to dans.

I went in and asked for a cup of cafe' and ordered 3 breakfast tacos, all egg n bacon with salsa. And flushed it all down with another cup of cafe'.

Dans is mainly full of families / old couples but their all good gonts. Anytime I go there is on a sunday, its been my twice a monthly ritual since I was a baby.

and now Im back home.

If any of you guys ever come through austin on a sunday morning I will take you to dans so we can chop it up for a bit and have a good breakfast. They have it all ritz, pancakes , oatmeal, all kinds of breakfast tacos and good ol coffee, mmmm mmm good fam.

Dans wife Fran divorced him back in the 80's and opened up Fran's and took half his employees. Its the same kind of place except she does potato wedges instead of curly fries like Dans.

Sandys definitely go hard. Thats the one with all outdoor seating and the 50s or 60s style yellow(?) signage right? Super good.

I've never been to burger tex. I am a huge p.terrys guy tho, when it comes to drive throughs. its like In N Out imo but tastier. You're such an austin guy you should really give it another shot. Definitely the freshest drive thru burger I've had
