The general notion of "materialism" is so taboo it's impossible to claim to be as much in a socially conscious way.

If someone says "yes, I'm a materialist" they're one of three things: trying to be ironic, using the term in the philosophical sense, or an autist

even if your friend is capable of providing you with sexual experiences, homo or otherwise, their all the same, monotonous, mundane.

or at least thats what i had with mine.

Depends on which friends. Some I've had for 15 years and others I've known a few months. I don't disagree that things get monotonous, and I wasn't trying to imply that going out with friends is the only way money is valuable. I just prefer paying for experiences. Like, I have lots of books because I like the experience of reading books, but I guess I'm kind of materialistic in that I like having a full shelf.

But stuff which has no experience value I really don't care about. Clothes, shoes, furniture, decoration, collectibles. I don't bother with that stuff anymore. Most of my shirts are just plain color or stuff I've been gifted. I don't have a lot of stuff which I can't use in some way. My drawers are pretty bare honestly. I feel like having too much stuff takes up mental clutter. I hate not being able to find something right away, or having so many things I lose them.

I've had friends who had shit in their car up to my waist and I cannot stand that shit. I think you can tell a lot about a person by how messy/cluttered their stuff is.

I think a person's relationship with things is one of the major compatibility congruency factors for couples. One who is indivorcible from their things can not truly make one who does not love things happy. #SoulTies

Materialistic, and such people definitely exist. It probably describes nearly everyone. But no one will admit to it being true, in a general sense.

Like who's going to stand up and be like "my psychological well being is contingent on having a big TV". Regardless of it being true or not, normal members of our society realize how vapid and shallow it makes them sound, and so would never voice such an opinion publically.

Bill Krozby will, he's a huuuuge hedonist and is all about dat pusssaaaay and see's those women's asses as possessions, he's extremely possesive, the only thing he love's besides that is brews and laptops and cats, he's very very carnal man, and relentless.
