2017-09-02 at 5:13 AM UTCIs this the one where she refused to draw blood from an unconscious patient? Pretty sure she just had to sit in the car for 20 minutes, and no charges were filed. Still fucked up.

here in austin the cops are the security. When I would deliver pizzas downtown and go to st. davids hospital I would have to go through a metal detector and get clearance from a few cops sitting at the front.
when I had a seizure last summer, I woke up handcuffed to a hospital bed naked and the cops had to come uncufff me. -
2017-09-02 at 11:13 AM UTCfake news. this was just rehearsals for an upcoming movie.

to everyone else who has a functional brain between their ears, this is the cliff-notes version:
there was a fairly severe car accident...the specific details of which are irrelevant, but individual-A caused a fairly severe wreck where individual-B was seriously injured and unconscious. individual-B was in no way at fault in the accident.
piggy-A was trying to get the nurse to draw blood for a toxicological screen to see what...if anything...individual-B had in his system. the only bummer for piggy-A was that without individual-B being conscious and giving his consent to having blood drawn the only other legal way for it to happen was to get a warrant signed by a judge and based on the situation, no judge is going to give a warrant. the nurse...and the supervisor she spoke to on the phone...knew their jobs and the law and followed through with what was not only the ethical course of action, but the legal one. piggy-A didnt like that everyone wasnt groveling at his feet and abiding by his every whim. piggy-A then did what all good little piggies do when they dont get their way...he threw a temper tantrum in the only manner they know how. the rest is on video for everyone to point at and laugh.
even if the nurse had followed the request of piggy-A, blood had been drawn, and individual-B was positive for OD-levels of every illicit pharmaceutical known to man, the results wouldnt be admissible in court because they werent obtained 'legally.' -

2017-09-02 at 1:20 PM UTC^you're stupid as fuck, why would the judge not give consent? I guess different places are well... different.. but here in austin they will get a judge to write an order to draw your blood with or with out your consent.
When I was in the hospital for my seizure they drew my blood and I never consented to it.
You need to quit talking out of your ass. -

then she'd be getting sued along with the cops.

you stupid faggot nigger loving bottom fag...you cant even pronounce the english language. you dont grasp a concept as simple as written communication and you expect me to explain to you the intricacies of the interaction of legal jurisprudence and medical practices? i could type half a paragraph using terminology and syntx I'd use if the intended audience were medical professionals and your head would explode. you fucking moron retard.
for anyone else who isnt Bill Krozby:
- a judge does not give consent. only the 'patient' can give consent. a judges position is to sign a warrant granting a certain LEGALLY PERMISSIBLE action to be undertaken. in this case/situation with the existing background there is no legally permissible reason to have blood drawn from the individual. a warrant is not an omnipotent piece of paper granting limitless authority. a warrant can only be made that grants already existing legal authority. for example...a judge cant write a warrant granting me permission to ram my dick up Bill Krozby's ass if Bill Krozby didnt want my dick up his ass. not that id even need a warrant...Bill Krozby always wants dick up his ass.
- if someone is having a particular dilemma where time is of the essence...such as a drug-induced seizure...it is basic medical practice that implied consent is given due to the medical necessity of determining the patients situation. ***the individual who was unconscious after the traffic wreck was not in a medical situation where blood being drawn was a medical necessity*** <- that sentence was pure speculation...i was using it as an example because i have no earthly clue what the accident victims situation was, but based on the nurse not wanting to draw blood im making the ASSumption that his condition didnt require it. -

that.
the supervisor wasnt present. the supervisor was on the phone with the nurse.
the reason is society is being turned into a bunch of pussies who are scared of their own shadows. god forbid they hurt the feelings of someone with a badge and a gun.
i, on the other hand, have no such compunction. -
