it was a "TKO" but I think McGregor thought he was going to knock out Mayweather in the short of the fight and made a bad calculation and the fact that Mayweather never lost a fight in his carreer was just the wrong guy to make that judgement. I root for the underdog but I figured this would happen.
that or it was thrown for a rematch for big money

I agree completely. McGreggor lacked the stamina to win, but otherwise he was the far better boxer. He was actually getting some good punches in while Mayweather just did his usual taps going for points. I think he frustrated Mayweather in that regard lol.
Did nobody here see the Cotto fight though? It was A+/10 -
