I kinda didn't want to do this thread because I've always usually been skinny, but at 28 I'm kinda starting to get fat, I don't know if it's the beer or the hamburgers )I do eat healthy sometimes(
But I've just started to get a gut. I lift weights I cycle sometimes but what extent do I need to do all this for my body weight/mass. I've gained 20lbs in the last 6 months. I'm now 150 at 5'10. I don't want to be a muscle dude, I just don't want to be like my dad, even when he was my age he was more trim. I kinda gain most my weight around my stomach.
has anyone here actually gone back from what they once where?

its definitely the beer. i tell that to everyone who gets in their mid to late 20s and then starts going around inquiring as to why they are getting fat when they are drinking 3+ nights a week. no one listens though because they already know its the alcohol, they just dont want to admit to themselves that it is because they dont want to quit drinking. alcohol is just a shitload of empty calories, also lowers your tesosterone and raises estrogen, and makes you lazy and way less likely to work out
