Oh, servers are $38 a month. $14 each on DB and WS and $10 for a backup machine. I could probably save on the backup if I went with like glacier or even google drive or something but grabbing backups with a cron script seemed sufficiently simpler than figuring out whatever API to justify it. I think zok once told me he was paying like over a hundred or something but I never understood what that money actually went to. -

Never dealt with Google Drive, but I wouldn't bother with S3/Glacier unless your entire site is hosted within AWS/EC2 instances
The APIs are fairly easy to use though; for the most part I just use perl scripts + the command line controller but I've written a bunch of php integrations in the past -
