Most of the reporting I've seen specifies that there were three deaths in Charlottesville and one was a result of this nazi terrorist. The helicopter was there as a result of the demonstrations, though. The car plowing directly resulted in one death and 19 injuries.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

there was a lot of confusion as to who got hit initially, and last I heard the police hadn't released the driver's identity - the media got a hold of the car's registration data though, and they've been going to town on the guy who owns the car.

this is interesting because that helicopter would've been the only thing that would've been able to see the path of the car; ie. where it came from and possibly why.
there are a bunch of theories flying around that it was some sort of false flag designed to intentionally turn public opinion harder against the WN/other right groups there, being that the helicopter may have been sabotaged, the low bodycount (compared to other recent ram-pages) and the low-res photos of the driver seeming to have a completely different facial structure to the popular suspect -
