   i was down in the pits on a range once, the type where the targets are on metal frames and you have to take them down, patch the holes and use a big pointer stick to show where they hit. they were firing a .303 bren gun and i was sitting on the ledge just below when one of the rounds hit the frame and then ricocheted just inches from my head and hit the concrete wall behind me, lol.
