Sometime last week I literally spent two days straight preparing something, reading and writing almost non-stop with barely any breaks other than necessities. That's not an exaggeration. After midnight on the second day I genuinely felt like I may pass out randomly, and I still needed to eat and wrap up. Uh, yeah, I should take better care of myself. I swear I may actually be mildly bipolar after all.)
You did make a thread stating you were interested in fantasy. This isn't quite the genre, but do you want to read (Well, of course, simply give it a chance), something I've been writing about AGI?
It's completely speculative and doesn't actually amount to anything, it's genuinely just something I wrote for fun.
You have to set aside your preconceptions and horrendous habits, though. That's by far what makes me hesitate, how likely it is that you're going to behave the way you always do.
You're already bound to have an idea of what it's going to be like, engaging in blatant presumption.
Trust me, it's very...strange. I certainly wouldn't consider it groundbreaking, and it's not something I would consider close to professional, but it may be something on the subject you've never quite read anything like and could show promise, at least as good science fiction that could be derived from it (No, not written by me.). Once again, set aside all your biases and forget who wrote it, simply read without judgement, don't even assume anything, interpret it negatively, speculate, etc. until you finish it, if you do. -

How long is it? I wouldn't want to commit if I wasn't going to finish. I can slog through anything for 10k words (not saying it would be a slog, just that that's the amount I could read before having to make a judgment to continue or not).

Is 2,300 taking 10 minutes for an average reader (pretty slow) okay? Treat as an overview for a sci-fi novel with heavy philosophical elements and thought experiments.
