It's pretty painful to lose a phone too.. might have photos taken never backed up, datebooks and such.. things like that.
I mean if it was money cash no wallet, for sure. if it was in a wallet with ID, I'd probably box it, send it to the drivers license information.
but money on the ground and no one around and no one walking up to you saying they dropped money.. it's yours to keep!
I'd keep what I found with a metal detector too if it wasn't a school ring with a name. like at a beach
meh. if youre gonna drop $700 on a phone then i have no remorse taking advantage of your stupid ass. morally dubious actions are the most fun
lol id send them their IDs back anonymously, but not their money
boo hoo karma isnt real as there's no affirmative defense for it, bing bong you lose -

University libraries are also excellent sources of free phones and laptops. -

There was another famous brand speaker offered but I forgot the brand name. that was a limited edition though
I do have the Moto G 5 the gold one.. (which is like a silver gold color.. looks nice)
The M8 is widely recognized to have had the best audio of that year, and arguably of all time, so this is further proof that you are mentally ill. -

That phone is 4 years old. technology gets better and cheaper. Once again, it was said the Beats was M7 so I had an M8 as well.. I was trying to think what audio system the basic model had, because there was a popular 70s audio system brand that made speakers for the M8 limited edition. I just can't remember the name of the audio brand without looking it up. It wasn't Boss but something in that quality range.
Edited: I found the brand name it was Harman Kardon. And from what I just read it was Sprint who only chose to give the phones this system
And yes, believe it or not, If you buy a case for a HTC or Samsung model x whatever.. the cases don't always fit with others of the same model. an HTC M8 from sprint might be slightly larger or smaller then one for Verizon.
I used to sell phones. we went through shitloads of models for various carriers.

You're thinking of Harman/Kardon.
The M8 still has one of the best speakers and DACs around. Your Motorola has a shitty onboard DAC from its ARM chip rather a standalone one. No, audio technology hasn't advanced that fast. Not sure what's wrong with your brain or phone. -

OK so I drop the phone and it magically got better then when it came out of the factory.
I'm a huge audio person. Sure I didn't know the specs in the phone but I'm telling you it sounds great and the M8 wasn't as what they claimed it to be. -
