   Bill Krozby you asked me to advice films to watch from earlier years.. this is a great one..watch the film. It never mentions San Francisco but has lots of scenes of Oakland and the hippy art near berkeley and what the waterfront natural waters edge looked like before they started throwing up office buildings everywhere. But much of it was filmed at Forrest Lawn Cemetary in LA, 400 miles away

   cool i'll download it now. And im not hating on your taste because we like a bunch of the same things but that movie "after hours" just didn't do it for me. but to each their own, but it was cool to see that guy from american werewolf in it and the cameo with cheech n chong.

   Yeah, it's dated now. Sorry.. but sometimes when you rewatch something you see things you didn't get before.
   
   Also watch Phantom of the Paradise from the 70s. It's like a comic book film about a Rock n Roll Phantom of the Opera (spin off) It was filmed in your town, Austin Texas.
   
   Also We watched the Thinning the other night.. also filmed in Austin. I should move to Austin and film low budget films
