the entirety of what visa claims is a flat out lie.
based on my own experience with a merchant account and from memory of the article:
- merchant do not make more by accepting only credit card payments. there is a significant loss in income when using credit card payments.
- credit cards are about 80% reliable and without cash, when electrical or network conectivity failures prevent a transaction, there is no money to be made
I can't remember the rest. I just remembered the entire line of shit from them is bullshit...and may even be illegal. trust/monopoly issues...refusal to accept 'legal currency'...etc
