Fuck me this project has turned into such a shit show I don't even know where to begin.
This was supposed to be a quick redo but it has snowballed to the extreme.
All I wanted was a new floor and cabinets, but I got so much more.
After removing the old cabinets I found black mold everywhere then when I pealed up the tile the sub floor was rotten.

    See if that link works.
Me and my brother found a good way to peal old tile up,you need to make some wedges out of some 2x4's and pound them under the luan just keep whakin at it and it will pop.
I think I just linked my whole one drive shit.

It's not sketchy its a link to my one drive.
It's supposed to be for one photo but I'm afraid I linked the whole thing that's all.
I don't have shit on it but who wants all that crap on the internets.

they tiled over vinyl flooring...over wood. amazing.

    whats under the wood?

if it has to be wood, i suggest screwing cement board to the wood, then ceramic tile over that.

peel up that vinyl bullshit. and an easier way to get up the tile is with some sort of mini-jackhammer sort of thing. google it. you can rent them. make sure you get a wide bit...called a 'tile' bit. and wear glasses and long sleeves/pants...unless you have a blood donor on call.

Don't even bother with that stupid shit. Your subfloor is already rotten, so you might as well just rip it all up in one go.
