get a bunch of pets, all different kinds, build a tiny zoo of animals you can take care of. it'll be the closest thing to having a family you'll ever have. a parrot, a dog, a cat, a liserd, a bunny, etc. they'll all be your friends and depend on you. that will help with the crushing loneliness.

But this speaks to her status, not to her chastity. As in a young noble woman would be called a "Jonkvrouw". Virgin in Dutch is "Maagd". IDK how we got that word, since it's so different from the German equivalent and English.

Honestly it's really fucking annoying. There is like a two week period in which people do this shit. I'd be fine if they just kept it to the couple days surrounding the 4th but people feel the need to do this all day long here. It makes all the babies bark, all the animals cry, and this is the fifth time today I've had to put out a fire on my lawn.
