That's what's fun about Christianity, depending on your denomination, and interpretation of the Bible , you get to decide what is the most comfortable for you to believe. -

Are their conditions taken into account? For example, if one person with the worst childhood imaginable and multiple disorders, very unfortunate circumstances, committed the same crime, murder, as a privileged rich boy, would they both receive the same outcome, or if it automatically condemns them to hell, would a crime that doesn't do so receive the same negative value judgment? How do you know the inner workings of the system, does it state of all of this in the bible?
-You can't atone for your own sins. It would never be enough.
-It works like this: repent and accept Christ - go to heaven. Don't - go to hell.
-Each person is judged according to the gospel they have heard. I'm not the ultimate judge, so I can't say for sure how every little factor works. -

Is it safe to assume that most of your beliefs, regarding Christian doctrine, come from the Bible? -

Yeah I read the verse, thanks.
Here it is talking about the finality of death in hell. You will be eternally dead. Gone. Never coming back. That is your punishment. It does not support your claim that the suffering of hell lasts forever. -

"Eternal punishment."
Do you believe the same with heaven? -

You say that blind faith is .. what, weak? Or dumb? Right? How is your faith not blind Dargo?
This is literally such a broad question it's not even funny. I could list all sorts of things and each and every one could be turned into a massive debate.
But, since you asked, if I had to boil it down to two off the top of my head:
-The incredible complexity of everything. Not humans, but our entire world. The notion it all came into being by chance is (mathematically even) absurd.
-The reliability of the Bible as an accurate historical (and God-breathed) document. -

I alogize. I didn't mean for it to be broad but yes, of course you're right.
I will go ahead and argue your two points regardless, and thanks for sharing them.
The complexity of everything. This can be SIMPLY explained by circumstance. It's not complex at all, outside of our own perception of what complexity is. Why do we have two kidneys? Why do we have that fucking organ that we don't even need? Why does the male seahorse hold the babby? Are you telling me these things were thought up and inspired by God , the all knowing Creator and Maker of all things?
WHY did he make fleas?
As far as the reliability of the Bible, it's no môre reliable than any book talking about history. I assume you're not so dense as to believe every historical document as accurate. Why is the Bible so different? -

Yes. God created everything. Answer me this as an atheist: If there is no God, why is there something rather than nothing?
The authority of the Bible goes like this:
-If the Bible is found to be reliable and true, then so are its claims.
-The Bible claims to be the infallible word of God.
-Therefore, if the Bible is found to be an accurate book, it is the infallible word of God.
That's what makes it different. -

First off, I'm not an atheist.
Second off, "if the Bible is found to be reliable and true" means nothing regarding my questions.
It's not found to be reliable and true without blind faith.
