Same here, I'm actually kind of worried as they are getting up there. They are still together and have money and take care of themselves but a year and a half ago I went to my first funeral ever and It was really awkward. I wasn't even sad that my cousin died at all, but I just didn't like having to see family that I hadn't seen in a decade acting fake and being dramatic.

I was way more upset over my cat dying and burring him than my cousin.

My Father died younger than I am from heart problems during a kidney dialysis.

My mom isn't doing to well right now. it's the hardest thing to Man-up and attend. First it's one of the people who brought you into the world

Next, the Drama. I mean most people will be chill and hug each other but there is always one or two flare ups of drama. I dread this almost as much as losing a parent.

then everyone has to feed each other after the wake. You can always tell who is jedi or Mormon (or is it JW?) in the family.. they both place scarfs over mirrors. You see a scarf over a mirror at the following wake you know someone is gonna get all religious on you and tell you about you should move on for them and so on.

The only good thing that comes out of this (but not for me) is an Open Bar. I will probably fall off the wagon, get smashed, make a scene and smack my girlfriend in front of my ex.
    LOL naw. fuck alcohol

One akward thing when my parents die is gonna be what to do with the money and shit they leave me, because I'll be "traumatised" on top of the fact that I can't possibly enjoy the money/possetions they leave me because of the guilt.

lol, when I moved out of my parents house 12 years ago and went to go get my social security card they were holding it but weren't giving it to me, just totally talking shit and looking like they were about to cry saying they took me out of the will for moving out lol

there cool now but it was pretty rocking with them for awhile.

There is no need to feel like you're being greedy from them leaving behind a fortune. I know there is humor in this but in reality you will often think of them.. best moments, awkward funny cringe moments and hopefully you will become frugal with at least a huge part of you money as backup in case you get sick and or when you're old. you might even pass it on to your kids

I had those years off now that I recalculate it. my mom would be 45, my dad 43. I'm not sure if that's even correct all I know is my father is 14 years older than me and my mom 16. I haven't spoken my mom in two months and my father last summer. I'm a shame to my entire family.

Your parents were massive fuckups. How did your life turn out? How screwed up are you?

I'm actually pretty well off financially but my relationships/friendships are usually limited to junkies and whores.

I'm really not that was somewhat of an exaggeration. As childish and immature as this is going to sound my father is wildly jealous of my success and my mom is uncomfortable saying "my son owns a real estate company that's really a front for trap houses." Her husband is a 200k/year engineer and my sister/mother's daughter is an RN and her husband is a pilot so I look shit in comparison.
