i don't believe trannies are somehow less capable of firing a weapon after being properly trained. what i do think is an issue is morale amongst the troops. having a tranny in the company would be distracting to many troops, especially as it's tits are swaying about wildly in the bush and they're confronted with sexual arousal but their mind tells them they shouldn't because they know it's a man, so it fosters confusion and in some cases, resentment that the tranny "made them feel that way" and instead of focusing on the task at hand, they're worried about their sexuality because they saw a man with attractive breasts and it made their penis tingle and they didn't like that.
