    depends on the county. in certain counties in Texas when you file a police report online, there's a box that you can tick that says do I need an officer to respond in person to this report? and you don't take that box and nobody will come. They are doing that to try to save money and prioritize actual emergencies as opposed to minor property crimes (so they don't waste money on nonemergencies)

    depends on the county and state. as long as you don't burn cause bodily injury to someone or burn anything down you will only do a year or two tops (IF you get caught)
