The guy from Project Veritas got a CNN producer on hidden camera admitting that they had literally nothing to back their constant claims of Russia touching up their election (or Trump's supposed Russian ties for that matter), they just keep banging the drum because it's driven their ratings higher than ever before.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

this is literally the idea I've been thinking of recently. or like when people post tutorials for illegal shit and they put a disclaimer. this is for entertainment purposes only. maybe 'the opinions in this publication are the opinions of the editor and as a result may differ from reality or public opinion.

the tabloids here in the UK are read by the majority of the population and taken by many as gospel. even tho people will say they are full of shit, the next moment they're discussing shit and literally what comes out their mouth is practically word for word the opinion of the tabloids.

not exactly, its done to instil fear into the general population. a population that lives in fear of threats and dangers that is beyond their control, are easily controlled by an authority that offers security from the very threats they have literally just scare mongered them from. its basically a protection racquet. the threats can be real, exaggerated or even completely made up. as long as the general population believes the threats are real the system of control works. because the general population now believes their very existence is absolutely dependant on the authority.
for example look at how much terrorism is used to absolutely horrify and scare the life out of everybody. yet many more people are killed by faulty electrics or doing diy in the home. you don't hear them banging on about those issues constantly. because the terrorists are a threat that is figured by most people to be absolutely beyond their control. diy is something that is completely down to the individuals common sense. everyone who attempts diy believes they are competent enough to do it, even if they're not.
