   Hormone therapy is very harmful to the female reproductive system.
   
   It can make genetic males that identify as transgender sterile which doesn't really have many physical consequences but the hormone therapy on females that want to go back or stop the treatment can be seriously life threatening so the issue is not simply ideological but there is a very real medical reality that is often ignored that our bodies are physically different and cannot be treated the same no matter how much this upsets anyone.
