2025-01-14 at 10:46 AM UTCThe whole idea that transgenderism is due to some sort of gender arbitrage is offensive and ignores the entire struggle for trans liberation and trans rights. No one chooses to be transgender and no one decides to be transgender for the privileges they feel they can reap by being the other sex. To the contrary, transgender individuals are subject to systemic discrimination and violence.

I was gender confused because I didn't fit the female stereotype. It's a result of sexism that character traits are assigned as being male or female, this is wrong. People treated me better when they thought I was male and it was nice for me, not having to deal with misogy. Then I became aware of my genius which was problematic because it's more important to be a role model for women instead of lying to them and saying that a woman like me doesn't exist. Transgender people reinforce gender stereotypes by claiming someone of their sex can't be like them. You should dress and act how you want but identity as your sex. Patriarchy created gender roles. Character traits should have never been assigned to people based on their sex to begin with. -

Pubs could ban customers from talking about topics such as transgender rights if landlords think they are harassing staff under Labour's new workers' rights charter

I can't speak to your lived experience but I feel you seriously need to explore and unpack the invisible power and privilege you carry as a cis white female. -

Being treated better than other groups doesn't equate to being treated like a person. White women aren't treated like people. -

I disagree. These men are wired to be monsters and even in a fair society they will always seek to overthrow it because they can't thrive in a fair society, they're too incompetent. They're complaining about more women going to university than men so want to make things unfair for women again instead of studying more. They need to be killed, that is the only solution. They will never listen to reason. -

Republicans brains are literally wired differently so they're more akin to chimpanzees, they're not going to change. If they're allowed to live they will continue to kill people who want a fair society, as they have done repeatedly throughout history. They're gearing up for another killing spree and humanity will never progress if they get to do it. They use your ideals against you, they're using democracy to commit genocide. Don't let them use the ideal to not harm others against you as well. -
2025-01-14 at 2:58 PM UTCDon't let your own decency kill you. It was a mistake to treat them as people.

2025-01-14 at 3:06 PM UTCI was standing in the hallway having conversations in my head for about half an hour. Just started happening again. I'm gonna check out, have some hot chocolate and go for a walk.

2025-01-14 at 6:08 PM UTCThis got me thinking about the height thing. My old avatars, I'd always scale the male ones to 107% and the female ones 100%. This means my ideal height for a man in relation to myself is 5'10.
