Once the cockroaches are fully infested, you could tear the drywall away and they would start falling out by the thousands in giant clumps.

Dump a large jar of peanut butter directly in the center of the room. That will keep them all to a single spot in the house.

You need to clean the house. Pay special attention to any food or water, that's what attracts them. Get some borax powder to put under appliances where it's warm (that are also attracted to that) and inside or under cabinets. Use lots under the sink and fridge and stuff.

Borax powder creates scratches in their exoskeletons and dessicates them. It doesn't kill them immediately but keeps them from coming back.

Get some raid fogger and use one per room, be sure to open every cabinet and if you have window unit acs then seal them up.

This should kill the majority of them but be sure to wash your dishes after this before you use them.

The most important part is to keep things clean afterwards, maybe do dishes immediately and take out your trash right away if there is food scraps in it.

The borax thing works very well, I've had to do it in an apartment I rented when I moved in and the roaches never came back but I'm not sure if it's safe to use if you have pets.

I've really resisted saying anti semitic things in this thread and I'm kinda proud of myself.

Also great insight TMF regarding hte borax powder, I didn't know that.

The biggest issue dear Crispolis is going to have in this issue is the fact she lives with older family members who are dirtyin terms of food contamination and hoarders with regards to bringing home stuff they find. My old roommate in the ghetto is the same way and the house is crawling with cockroaches now. It's very disgusting and sad to experience.

Ultimately professional assistance will likely be needed but I hope she can find some form of a solution because she's not the one with the behavior issues contributing to this problem it's fucked up she has to experience a living environment plagued by an ongoing infestation I really doubt anyone will be rersponsible enough to eradicate.

We’ve done that. I keep food sealed in bags. I throw everything away. I keep what i can clean. The foggers and shit didnt work, spraying doesnt work, the borax things arent working. Nobody else in this house tries to get rid of them, my grandmother hoards shit and keeps all the food laying out, my dad keeps dirty dishes in the basement. Im trying to move in with my mom once she gets me a door for her house

My sister bought hundreds of dollars worth of the foggers. I shook my head and said "that's just going to make them horny"

And of course it failed miserably. They are likely German cockroaches and without a physical barrier, they will just keep coming back. Not just sealing food and keeping floors clean, as they can survive on the dust from your skin

Seal up any crevices they can get into, this includes inside electronics and furniture. They like to piggyback on those.

The physical properties of any gas or fog that's used are not radically different than other vapors or gases so they won't penetrate deep into walls and the spaces along plumbing. The roaches will just wait out any attempts at gassing. Pay special attention to places under sinks., Crevices they can hide in, and seal them up completely with silicone caulking.

If it's a huge massive place it's going to be harder but physical barriers are all that will work. Also keep in mind these fuckers can chew right through plastic bags to get into food. Mason jars and such are best. Some stores sell extra large ones.
