You cannot drop things in space

But even then there still isn't a down, attraction to another object in space (re: the Earth) isn't up or down…it's just 2 objects attracted to each other.

By that logic there is down period.

    2. If by "in space" you mean not in a spacecraft nut in a spacesuit, like every person who has ever left a spacecraft, then the suit is heated and your dick would not "shrivel up into an acorn".
    3. If by "in space" you mean in the vacuum of space outside of a spacecraft without a spacesuit your dick still would not "shrivel up into an acorn". Your blood would boil even at -275°. This would cause your dick to explode just like your eyeballs along pretty much every soft chewy morsel of you.

theres a lot of dicks in this post.

Wrong. I'll have you know we dropped out in 6th grade.

Hey man space physics is pretty theoretical but at least we are considering it

no...logically there really isn't a down, it's simply how humans deal with orientation relative to their position and using gravity as a qualifier.

..for example if you were (from your perspective) standing in space below Earth and you "dropped a hammer which then floated UP to Earth you'd think..."Oh look at that hammer floating up to Earth"...not down.

Up/down is relative to the observers position and their perception of which is which...another observer in a different position (in the example he was above Earth) might see things the opposite...in that he'd say "Oh look that hammer is falling down to Earth"

Up is away from a gravitational force and down is towards it. That is what the words were invented to express. As long as humans who speak English exist, up and down will exist.

Everything is actually part of a universal vortex, so your relative position to the root is always changing.

I'm willing to side more with this opinion only because I believe the human brain would die if there was no real concept of up or down. Our brains need gravity and need down to exist or else we die, our bodies cannot handle anything else which is kinda my point of the thread

so by that logic speedy has to be right here

What if 2 bodies are side by side and of equal gravitational pull.

If you had been paying attention in class instead of rubbing your willy, you would know that depends on which body has an English speaking human standing on it.

    Very scientific...amputees are gravitational anomalies
