They did the same thing with the Indians. They'd call a truce and arrange a pow-wow to visit their secret camp, then they'd arrive and wipe out the entire camp to the last man, woman and child.

israel has been talking to the US about 'responding' to the Iranian missile attack - they're mostly discussing attacking Iran's energy extraction and distribution infrastructure (gas/oil) but have openly refused to take attacking the nuclear reactors off the table.
Several outlets are hinting at strikes on October 7 as symbolic revenge.
4x Boeing aerial refuelers and 2x heavy cargo planes are headed to the middle east.
General Michael Kurilla is headed there tonight to discuss the plans with israel.

They won't bomb the oil, it's too much like what Saddam did. But they will pretend like they will as a feint. The oil is good for keeping Iran rich,and rich people don't want war and have lower birthrates. If you hate somebody, make them rich.
Obviously they're going to be going all in on attacking the nuclear program, since that is actually a threat.
