yeah I really dropped the ball but I think Lanny also doesn't care enough to implement things like my code which allows for youtube shorts and tiktok to be embedded in video tags which requires only a few lines to be changed but when everything needs to be approved by one person I think things can fall through the cracks.
Also the site runs without doing it so I understand the logic. We really should be paying Lanny 6 figures annually or else he will be scouted like a star footballer by codeing projects with the big bucks
imagine a script that can detect when any link is posted and fucks it up on purpose by inserting random unicode characters. If you post for example https://www.fbi.gov/investigate on any website in the world the person who runs that server of that domain (the FBI) can see which websites hotlinked their URL to their site in real time.
