2024-08-13 at 3:50 AM UTCPretty decent, quitting k-r-a-t-o-m which may not sound like it's hard but it is. Can't fall asleep easily anymore, and I miss my 9pm bedtime. Wish I had a vape and maybe some alcohol but that would require putting on regular clothes and leaving my house ... so I guess I don't want them that bad. So far it's been 3 days with a fraction of the k-r-a-t-o-m I had been taking. Down from 28grams a day to 12grams.
My nose is runny and I'm telling myself that I'll hit the gym tomorrow instead.
Overall, at this moment I'm optimistically content. -

Anytime someone has cat (and this may be bias) I automatically think that they are more pragmatic than a dog person.
I like other people's dogs but if I were to break it down: not having a yard + being at work all day + my empathy for he welfare of the animal + the extreme neediness of said animal = I just ain't ready for that shit.
I knew girls in high school that would move into a studio apartment with their BF at 18 yrs old and imminently get a fuckin' dog together. Those poor animals...GOD I hate the piece of shit hick town I grew up in... -
