The future is already going to be fucked, we have unavoidable demographic, dysgenic, debt and natural resource crises all queued up.
People in the future will curse us for sucking up all the oil, depleting all the phosphorus and natural resources, transforming the demographics of the planet, running up massive debts we couldn't pay, the whole thing. We party, and we are leaving them with a burnt out hell planet. -

You're making my point…self absorption and self interest…it's nothing to do with habitats or saving the whales etc…it's about humans saving their own skin.
Good riddance I say, life will have a better standard of living without us and something better and more worthy might come along in a million years or so…think about the greater good rather than the self.

they dont even have a real metric or a unit of measurement to measure "climate change". no greek alphábets, no special symbol, no scientific formulae, no nothing.
saying it is now averagely X° hotter than Y years ago isnt a measure of "climate change". its just an expression of climate doing its thing in the course of being .... climate;
