As of March 2024, 7.6% of USA adults identify as LGBTQ+, which is up from 3.5 percent in 2012. This includes people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or another sexual orientation.

The LGBTQ+ community in Mexico has been battling against all odds and gaining territory in a conservative and discriminatory society. During a recent survey, around 5.1 percent of the population self-identified as part of the LGBTQ community, which is slightly over five million people.
