   It's very rare I have hotdogs and when I do I usually do them in the microwave...sure it makes them look like a shriveled up old cock but it's fast and convenient.

    Whenever I boil water for something I boil extra then I freeze whatever I'm not using in tupperware containers so that the next time I Need boiling water I already have it.

    Every Sunday I boil six kettles then freeze it and that last me for 7 to 10 business days.

    You have to "Devein" the crickets of it's usual parasite (worms) then roast them. of course if you roast them with the worms in it you get extra protein. just as long as the worm is dead.
    
    its most likely that farm bred crickets wont have parasites. they get that in the wild. also if you soak the crickets the worms will evacuate the crickets.
