Whenever I boil water for something I boil extra then I freeze whatever I'm not using in tupperware containers so that the next time I Need boiling water I already have it.

You have to "Devein" the crickets of it's usual parasite (worms) then roast them. of course if you roast them with the worms in it you get extra protein. just as long as the worm is dead.
its most likely that farm bred crickets wont have parasites. they get that in the wild. also if you soak the crickets the worms will evacuate the crickets.
