it's okay part of living in a sober 'recovery' house is dealing with people who never developed life skills. I regularly have to teach people how to wash dishes and sweep because they're only 35 years old and never had the opportunity to do that before.

but the dumbfucks will cook something and almost always they put the burner on as high as they can, oil goes everywhere, shit splatters int eh microwave, the bottom of the pans become scorched and they're just like oh
grab their food and go eat and never clean up after themselves. It is kind of pathetic but the majority of them have been coddled by female relatives their whole life which is how they ended up in positions where they could just use drugs for years and years without developing any skill or wherewithal aside from leaning on their family

saddest hting is food stamps and the best exemplification of retardation caused by immaturity and drug abuse retarding mental development.
They get paid on the 7th so they have no food for the first six days of the month or very little food rather.
So they get 200$. They then buy as many energy drinks, ho hos, twinkies, bags of chips, rotisserie chicken, buy stuff for other people, gas station candy bars, and some food. By the 21st they have no money left on their card and are asking their afmily to drop off food, asking people when they make food if they can share with them, and eating ramen noodles. This situation gets worse and worse till the 7th when they get their food stamps and the first thing they do is spend 30$ at the gas station accross the street because they can't wait to go to walmart the next day.
Compare that to me, where I buy groceries for myself, for my old roommate, always have the same amount of food give or take.
Not sure how to help epople develop these basic skills though.
GET MONEY FOR THE MONTH, SPEND ALL THE MONEY IMMEDIATELY, SUFFER, REPEAT
