    some of you may remember a thread i made a few months ago about how i blew off jury duty. well they sent me another one but im actually gonna go this time since its summer break anyways and maybe i'll get a chance to nullify a jury if the person got arrested for some bs (if that is possible, idk). anyways i shouldn't have any problem getting baked beforehand right?

    That's probably really unlikely. It's most likely going to be boring as fuck.

    Yes it will probably be boring as fuck. I don't know if you've ever been to a low-tier trial but they are very uneventful, just some stupid testimony and a few pieces of evidence. It's highly unlikely you're gonna be in a high profile murder trial or some shit.

    Still though it would be fun to do once, for the very reasons you said. Be the one juror that refuses to agree with the others. Fuck it.

    You can only blow it off for 3-4 months. but if you serve (in California) it's one year before they recall you.

    I wish it paid more. like 100 dollars a day and 50 cents a mile traveled. work it in different counties every year for extra crunchy bucks!

    Green, go! Maybe you'll meet someone nice. Who cares if the trial is low profile, it still sounds fun to me, but I'm studying law and addicted to courtroom procedures.. so maybe my advice is bad :p
