The answer folks is to lose weight, stop consuming sugar which increases estrogen, go outside and actually do stuff, get your metabolism moving etc
...or be your pudgy "low T" millenial/zoomer and get a bra

I believe the original 80s numbers were taken from a study that was done exclusively in Massachusets so interpret that how you will

Too much pie and not enough walking in Massachusetts by the look of things.

if you want to cut out sugar you're better off just cutting it out entirely; most of the sugar substitutes are far worse for you
you get to choose between diabetes and cancer

don't soft drinks in the US use HFCS rather than raw sugar anyway?

I don't really have a lot of artificial sweeteners either, obviously some as it's very hard to avoid everything, I gave up drinking soda about 3yrs or so ago...sure I have the occasional one but it's more like 3 or 4 a week than 3 or 4 a day.
I'm not sure I'm convinced about the "threat" from artificial sweeteners either. I've read "studies" and "reports" from both sides some saying it's poison some saying there isn't direct evidence it's bad...of course generally anything artificial isn't...good so best to avoid where possible...either way Most docs agree sugar is far worse for all kinds of reasons.
I can say I feel and am whole lot better, stronger, fitter, vastly more energy, healthier since switching to a strict keto existence, average 20g carbs a day or less, more protein and good fats and it's become so routine now that I don't even think about "bad" food or drinks and have no desire for them. Like I said it's what your body adapts to.
My doc is amazed at my progress over the last 6 months...of course she's not happy about me low carb intake but the blood work results and physical changes speak for themselves
