I sprayed sun screen on the front of me which looks perfectly normal.
Had my wife spray my back.
I.... don't think she um.... put very much effort into it.

Spent a considerable amount of time trying to unclog the toilet in the Airbnb last night.
Embarrassingly had to contact the host who brought out a plunger that's for a kitchen sink.
It did little.
Then he brought me a terrible looking drain snake with not much luck.
He even tried but it only got slightly unclogged.
Tbh I'm terrified of using it for anything solid.
I'll probably pre emptively buy a proper uncloger.

Toilet is unclogged. Going to the beach. It's the last day to really enjoy the beach.
I'm staying on it until I can't any longer.

Yesterday we got up and watched the sun rise (sorta).
Then we all went back to bed and while we slept a huge storm barreled through and wrecked havoc.
Woke up a couple hours later and the power and Internet were out.
Luckily we were at the beach so we did beach stuff.
The waves were bigger for a while so I tried boogey boarding. Didn't look good doing it.
Then I went out to see some of the ruins nearby via kayak.
After the beach we tried going to town for food but trees blocked roads and I had to double back and take an alternate route.
In town power lines were down and some restraunts were closed.
We ended up eating at a hotel restraunt which left me in great pain.
After that we went to some parks, found a guy with a bunch of cute puppies, ate ice cream, listened to live entertainment in the street.
Once back at the garage the only thing close to a kids movie there was to watch was National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Slept like a baby.

Today we went to Lumberman's Monument. Took the 242staors down to river's edge to see the little lumberman's tent.
After that we traveled to a scenic overlook where there was a humongous dune to the bottom which we choice to not take.
Headed to Oscoda peir and beach. It was very nice. Had a big play ground and swings in the sand. The peir had a great view.
After that we had BBQ for lunch at Route 23 BBQ, and it was amazing.
Our last stop was Tawas Point Lighthouse which closed due to a storm as soon as we got there.
We stayed as the stormed passed after about 10 minutes.
There were lots of nature trails and it was very peaceful out on Tawas Point.
Once back at our Airbnb we tried going to the beach but the wind was too much.
I found the water still surprisingly warm.
I'm waiting on our tent to blow away.
And the wifi is back so I'll try to post pics of the last couple days now.
