Something about zombie games like project zomboid and DayZ seem to always be intertwined with light "roleplay" aspects where people want to be like "I"m a survivor in the apocalypse named Gordon Frank and my wife got bit by a zombie AHHHHHHH!!!!"
and then you kill yourself and "perma" because she was the love of your life and you can't take the grief, yup great rp fuys *blinks rapidly* -

Best character so far I think.
Cant remember how long this one has been alive. Never been sick, almost died once due to extreme blood loss from a crazy zombie attack but recovered. Have avoided military zones but have been living in the woods looting hunter cabins. Have improvised shelters set up in thick trees, never need to light a fire to keep warm due to high insulation clothing. Have killed 1 player so far, and hunted several large game animals, tanned leather from their hides and made a backpack. Main weapon is the crossbow, but also carry a longhorn hunting pistol for shooting unsuspecting players, and a .357 revolver for more immediate threats. Carry a garden hoe for melee and growing crops wherever I want. -

2024-08-29 at 3:05 AM UTCGot a good double kill tonight. After a fresh start the other night we were looting in another town when we noticed some infected corpses and knew there was another player. We were able to track the other player to a small garage / shed building, due to them aggravating the infected while they made their way through town.
The building had a window and I took aim with a recently acquired Mosin. The player dropped and the infected were after me. My partner went to check the shed to confirm the kill or finish him off if unconscious. But was blasted away as soon as he opened the door by a second player.
I retreat to a nearby house and wait for the infected to calm down. There was about a dozen infected in the area. After some time I sneak to the shed. It has two entrances. I carefully open one entrance while staying in cover, then the other, while the player is closing them again. I went back and forth, opening the doors and staying in cover, then started running around the building and kept opening doors as I ran around.
The infected noticed and swarmed and that's when I took a chance and ran inside. I had an axe and managed to rush the player and quickly kill him. He did get two shots off but thankfully was not able to hit me firing his rifle in close quarters. After killing him I closed the doors before any infected got in. Got to take the best loot off the two bodies in the shed as well as my partners old body.
