it wasn't an accident. blimps were all over the place back then, and yet there were news crews on the ground just WAITING to record it and say "oooh the humanity" as it burst into flames. "a blimp is landing in a field, better go fucking record that" NO. blimps were commonplace. it was not newsworthy.
it was a plausibly deniable attack perpetrated for propagandistic purposes. -

I was just so excited that I made a big cup of espresso, told this old white guy "I'm so excited to join the army when world war three starts, can I have a cigarette?" and he gave me two and smiled because he also is a war monger (though he likes Israel) and I said no just one and that was the last cigarette I had.

That "Accident" was sarcasm. I figured this much.
I mean it had a giant fucking Swastika on the got damn thing and though we didn't enter into the European War yet, the US was allowing these fuckers to land on American Soil while refusing to sell them Helium which was difficult to produce at the time and the Germans didn't have enough of it so they put Hydrogen in the fucking thing. everything fine until "Oh no, a Storm" -

Helicopter crashes aren't noted for their survivability. Especially not if it's due to fog, which means the helicopter flew into a hill or something. It's safe to assume the Iranian President is dead. -
