    Well, Pakistanis are South Asians and Arabs are West Asians like Persians and Turks and Armenians are. Arabs can also be North Africans but they originated in West Asia. Pakistan is a melting pot, it is a nationality consisting of many different ethnic backgrounds. Most Pakistanis are Indic because they speak Indo-Aryan languages such as Urdu or Punjabi. The official language of Pakistan is Urdu and it was picked because it was foreign to the people of Pakistan. The options were Farsi or Urdu and Urdu was picked. I would have preferred Farsi. Pakistanis use the term Pak for short and not what you used because that is considered a racial slur because it has a history of violence behind it. Urdu has an Indic base and many loan words from Arabic and Persian. Once you go east of Iraq, there are no Arabs anymore but Persians and we border Iran. As well as Afghanistan.
