The Thirdworldisation of the West

Interesting interview. He basically says things will keep getting worse forever, and the reason is inequality.

The rich own all the income generating assets, and they're going to buy up the rest of the income generating assets.

This is the way in places like India.

This isn't sustainable and it's not the 1400s. The aristocratic class has overplayed their hand and underestimated their position. The prole class is going to give them a nice French-revolution-esque haircut.

The answer isn't make more rich people pay more in taxes JUST GENERATE MORE WEALTH SO EVERYONE GETS STUPID RICH AND CAN AFFORD TO LIVE ON THE MOON AND TRADE ENTIRE REGIONS OF SPACE AND COMETS MADE OUT OF SOLID GOLD

nah fuck all that I just want to work in a factory for the rest of my life and hope Brandon increases the MEGA RICH GUY tax from whatever % to some bullshit % so if I ever get rich I will hit a limit of what I can do because SOCIETY COMES FIRST!! PAY YOUR FAIR SHARE!! UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME!

This is the mentality when society is ran by people that can't even picture trillion dollar economies in their head if they try. I do it for fun after smoking a gram of meth because I know working for the rest of my life and being the richest person on the planet will still amount to fucking PEANUTS when you have to pay taxes and some communist faggot cries about inequality because you want to spend all your money blowing up in space and they just want to not starve and go to work every day LIKE A GOOD SLAVE!

We were promised that machines and computers would make our lives easier, and allow us to have more time for the finer things in life.

But instead workers are still working 8+ hours a day, being measurably more productive than workers of the past, yet still only given a small slice of the value their work produces.

You neglect to mention the most poignant fact: the gap between workers' income/assets and owners/aristocracy-class income/assets is the largest its ever been in all human history...including estimates of during medieval serfdom/fiefdom

Communism creating jobs is like telling someone to move a beach and giving them a spoon or something I forgot the meme

If you just killed everyone, then it costs the state $0 to feed people and you can spend 100% of the profits on industry and farm machines, PROVBLEM CAPITALISM?????

It's true that the rich will buy everything. I just saw a news article that the top 1% just got to the point where they have more money than the entire middle and lower classes combined does.

The thing is that a lot of shit is subsidized. You can get free healthcare if you're under the poverty line. you can get foodstamps. You can get free college. I seriously just max out my student loans and work part time. I'm going all the way to PHD level. I work in between in phases when I get bored or need more money, but I'm just going to milk the gov forever because they offer it, then work part-time online in some foreign country where my money goes really far.

yes but only up to the point just right before dissent becomes critical amongst the populace and then the "elites", "capitalists" or whatever you want to call your present and future lords unleash a propaganda amongst a part of the populstion against another or the ruling government.

until the likelihood of "civil" war seems inevitable. thats when your feudal lords will act by pretending to be the "savior" of the people by using their soft powers to confront the perceived public enemy #1, the government by handling the present power that be a New World Order, a complete reset,

in the same scenario and spirit of how the Magna Carta came into being.

Then it's even worse because amortization of real estate loans is beneficial to the aristocracy class and detrimental to the process.

Which is why if the economy crashes I'm maxing out my credit cards

no one said anything about anyone armortizing anything.

ah sed if you factor in inflation over the centuries since medieval times, the asssets and accumulated wealths of all the feudal lords of those days far outstrips the asssets and accumulated wealth of all the "elites" of our present day.

    Okay, commie.

This is eminently sustainable because sustaining the status quo is what the machine is built for, and that's what the people who own the machine want. Revolution is a LARP.
