   this is such an amazing success story It still fascinates me how I no longer live in a reality where the creator of dwarf fortress pays his rent by selling crayon drawings of his weird indie ascii game but now I can sleep at night knowing his project is funded for life and he became a millionaire by following his dreams and going against the grain of society and the video games industry to create the most complex game ever
