    If all drugs were free I would tell people not to do them or slow down and they would be like FUCK YOU MAN ITS LEGAL THAT MEANS I SHOULD GO FASTER CHUFF CHUFF CHUFF and im just like whoa bruddah man thats how hard i went when it was illegal maybe we need a new approach for a better tomorrow

    The point is if the Government had a place to give and use drugs with the restrictions of not letting them wander the street then drug cartel wouldn't have anyone to sell theirs to (at least in the USA) and the drug wars would end.

    so much taxes are wasted trying to stop the war they could have just gave drugs to users with a place to live in and then offer a "Way out" of using drugs. never pushed on them but just cleverly offered and trying to get their interest in it.

    anyone on the streets looking for illegal drugs is then sent to a stricter mental hospital hold and anyone selling it gets punished swiftly and harsh.

    Except the reality of the situation is not what they're propogandising. The 'war' will never be won because all sides make too much money and receive too many benefits for prosecuting it. Law enforcement intercepts just enough produce to maintain the illusion they're doing anything to justify the billions of dollars being taxed from the American public.

    I don't think this phenomena would exist in a legal self regulated market I think cartels can only exist in a illegal market, as soon as you have some kind of check and balance besides state approved robbery of cottage industries I think the violence would cease because it wouldn't make sense in a stable market. The current drug market is not "capitalist" it's VERY heavily influenced and controlled by the government who watch it with an eagle eye, industry self regulation would solve 99% of the problems with the drug market in any country

    whats wrong with someone smoking crack in alley? Doesn't bother me. I see it at parks and on the streets and I fantasize that it's actually legal and I just pretend it's normal. Most people don't even notice or care, and they shouldn't.

    The only reason "drug wars" exist is because if you move a brick of cocaine 1 kilometer you have 27 different government agents that want to steal your house, car, rape your family and blow up your entire neighborhood until they find every particle of cocaine. Drug dealers don't do that, gangsters aren't that insane, only well funded state goons that do it for a living would work that hard and be that violent for money.
