   Democracy doesn't really work as intended I think when it's shoved down the throat of a population because with a 40% turnout it's just assumed that everyone else would have voted for a democratic system in the first place.
   
   If that 60% all became nazis the 40% would never allow them to form a political party or run.
   
   I don't think you need a democratic system per se I think the democracy would flow naturally from a decentralized anarchist Dao system where each economic group can interact with whoever they choose i.e Catholics not trading with pro abortion industries, Muslim banking, communist tribal economies. Seems to work okay for india
