It's kind of like judges. Even though they SHOULD judge objectively, sometimes they have a bad day and end up taking it out on certain defendents who simply rub them the wrong way.
It's probably not RIGHT, I mean, it's not, but it's human nature and is sometimes impossible to avoid, unfortunately.
Lanny's position is obviously a little different than that of a criminal judge, in that he made the rules and has his own free will to do whatever he wants. He isn't even required to judge, or moderate, objectively, but I feel he mostly tries.
There's always a few wrenches in the system that make things fucky.

Like I honestly don't even know what choices I would've made up to this point if I were the admin and everything was identical. I never ban on TC and I like to think I would never ban here, but that could be untrue if I actually had the option. In fact, I'm pretty sure I would've banned Jill at least once.
Like I said, I don't really know if I'd act differently if given that power.

Not necessarily with Lanny, he does seem to be more willing to work on the site with some liquor in him. It corrects an underlying neurological deficit, creates a biologically modulated state that's more optimal for this.
