   if you've only got one (1) light source, you only get one (1) shadow per object. if you've got more than one shadow for one object, every object being hit by those light sources would also be casting multiple shadows.

   keep trying tho, i guess. if there's one thing i respect about artists its that they can make something atrocious and keep going, even learning from their mistakes. i fuck up and just decide don't have it in me to make bad art and persist. too embarrassing.
   
   i need a ton of drugs to make me stop feeling that embarrassment, and it comes back as soon as i'm sober.

   the thing is he is stnding right above the light source or its hitting him closer henc emultiple shadows while the other creatures are at different angles or positions to it.

   the whole point was to tryu doing a first person angle on holding a sword and shield and this i think canme out interesting the rest of the stuff can be chanegd or altered digitally.

    which lightsource. the one directly overhead, just barely casting a shadow under the critter he's looking down on? the 3 behind and to his left? the one to the right allowing the rock he's standing on to cast shadows on itself?

    its not supposed to be realistic its based on a game concept. the second verison i posted is slightly more realistic with a perspective blur ro hid ethe water color grass.

    how does it not make sense it comes form left or upper left since the other beat up top also has a similar angle to his sahdow? the one on bottopm there is grass there and i forgot to add shadow to him.
