   They said there are 3 hydraulic systems, but that's not really true, the centre one is the main one and runs a bunch of things the 2 backup systems don't.
   
   The Dreamliner with the computers which just died for no reason is probably the scariest one.

    the point being that a plane is designed in a way that it should be able to be flown and landed "safely" with just one of these redundant systems working.
    
    and a good pilot should be able to man-neuver HIS plane inspite of these system failures by compensating system that failed with other working ones.

    i am now begining to thing boeings strategy to deal with bad presses about their shoddy QC and the lack of safety standard in their factories and with their planes is by flooding the internet with as much air incidences as possible to the point that it became normalized.
