The problem is welfare rates won't be reviewed. For instance in Ireland welfare 20 years ago was about €220 a week. Nowadays it's about €220 a week. I was on welfare 20 years ago, I bought food for the house and petrol for the car on it.
Now, I spend that much on a shopping trip.
Mass immigration is the death of the welfare state. Death of a lot of Europeans.
We're being swamped with entitled foreigners. And they aren't shy about asserting about how entitled they feel they are to what we earned.

I haven't been on welfare for years since covid and can't even get on it now as I don't have a bank account and no banks or government institutions will work with me in any way -

A credit union would maybe work with me, idk of any in my area. i've used them in rural areas before and they are way better than big banks and less kikey. I use NEOBANKS and shadow banks now. I have no identity documents at all so I can't pass the most basic KYC required by banks, money lenders, moneymart, online exchanges. I'm pretty much unable to use anything except the most fringe online services like some kind of african migrant with halal banking and free trade forex switch board services that cost 2x as much
My only savior is services like this that do cash exchange and essentially work like paypal and let you access the global financial system through REGULATED LENDERS
